Describes a haughty, self-satisfied attitude, often with a facial expression or posture that looks down on others. Used adverbially.

  She ignored my greeting, acting all prim and smug.

• つんと澄すまして歩あるく姿すがたが印いん象しょう的てきだった。

  The way she walked with her nose in the air was striking.
