Describes a large number of people or things entering a place all at once, like an avalanche. Often used for crowds flooding into a venue, station, or room.
As soon as the store opened, customers surged inside.
終電が着くと、大勢の乗客が改札になだれ込む。
When the last train arrives, a crowd of passengers rushes through the ticket gate.
Less common variant combining 雪崩 and 込 without okurigana.
Rarely used kanji form.
