Used to say that something is not serious enough to warrant a strong reaction like anger, worry, or effort. Often follows a clause describing the situation.

• 彼かれの失しっ敗ぱいは、怒おこるほどのことはない。

  His mistake is not worth getting angry about.

• わざわざ行いくほどのことはない店みせだった。

  It was a shop not worth making a special trip for.
