Usage patterns

• 〈数すう〉イニングを投なげるto pitch a certain number of innings

  彼かれは先せん発ぱつで7イニングを投なげた。

  He pitched seven innings as the starter.

• イニングの表おもてthe top half of the inning

  They added three runs in the top of the 5th inning.
