Usage patterns

• 〈物もの〉にジャムを塗ぬるto spread jam on something

  パンにジャムを塗ぬって食たべた。

  I spread jam on bread and ate it.

• ジャムを作つくるto make jam

  夏なつにいちごでジャムを作つくった。

  I made jam with strawberries in the summer.

• ジャムを煮にるto cook down (fruit) into jam

  果物くだものを鍋なべでじっくり煮にてジャムにする。

  I slowly cook the fruit in a pot to turn it into jam.
