Physics term referring to the relationship between heat produced by an electric current and the resistance of the conductor.
Joule's law is used to calculate the amount of heat generated by an electric current.
Named after the English physicist James Prescott Joule. The Japanese term is a direct borrowing of the English 'Joule's law'.
