Stokes' law
A physics term describing the drag force on a small sphere moving through a viscous fluid.
Stokes' law is used to calculate the settling velocity of fine particles in a fluid.
Named after the British physicist George Gabriel Stokes. The Japanese term is a direct borrowing of the English name combined with 法則 (law).
