hard sectoring
A method of dividing a storage medium into sectors using physical marks or holes, as opposed to software-based sectoring. Used in older floppy disk and magnetic storage technologies.
Hard-sectored floppy disks were considered more reliable than soft-sectored ones.
This drive does not support hard sectoring.
