ponzu soy sauce
A Japanese sauce made primarily from soy sauce and citrus juice, often used as a dipping sauce or dressing.
Ponzu soy sauce goes well with hot pot dishes.
From ポン酢 and 醤油. ポン酢 developed from Dutch pons “punch”; its final syllable was subsequently written 酢 and understood as “vinegar.”
