Common colloquial term for a man (or sometimes a woman) who is excessively dependent on or attached to his mother, often used critically or humorously.

  He's a mama's boy, so he calls his mother every day.

• あの人ひとはマザコンで、何なんでも母はは親おやに相そう談だんするらしい。

  That person seems to be overly attached to his mother and consults her about everything.
