Technical linguistics term, especially in the Saussurean contrast ラング and パロール. It means the shared language system, not simply any everyday use of 'language'.

Langue refers to the language system that underlies individual utterances.
Rare katakana transcription for 'lung'. In ordinary Japanese, the organ is normally called 肺; ラング is more likely in transliteration, labels, or special contexts.
In the anatomy chart, the English name for the lung was shown in katakana as 'rangu'.
In Saussurean linguistics ラング is the shared underlying language system, while パロール is the individual act of speech that contrasts with it.
