Buddhist memorial service for Buddha's death
Originally held on the 15th day of the 2nd lunar month, now commonly observed on the 15th of the 3rd month. Also known as 涅槃会.

涅槃会 is a more common term for the same memorial service. 仏涅槃忌 is a formal, less frequently used variant.
