Osaka dialect word for a stubborn, inflexible, or narrow-minded person. Archaic in standard Japanese, but still used in Kansai region.

• あの人ひとはほんまにヘンコやなあ。

  That person is really stubborn, isn't he? (Osaka dialect)

• ヘンコな考かんがえ方かたでは、新あたらしいことができへんで。

  With a narrow-minded way of thinking, you can't do new things. (Osaka dialect)
