喪もに服ふくする

Formal expression for entering a period of mourning, often after a death in the family. The shorter form 喪に服す is also common.

• 祖そ父ふが亡なくなり、家か族ぞくは喪もに服ふくしている。

  After my grandfather passed away, the family is in mourning.

• 国くにを挙あげて喪もに服ふくする期き間かんが設もうけられた。
