speak of the devil
Proverb used when the person you were just talking about appears. Equivalent to the English 'speak of the devil'. The full form is 噂をすれば影が射す.

A shortened form of 噂をすれば影がさす, literally “when someone is spoken of, their shadow appears,” referring to the person unexpectedly appearing while being discussed.
