Everyday adverb expressing a fairly likely guess, often used with だろう, と思う, or similar softening expressions. It is less certain than きっと.
多分、明日は雨だろう。
It will probably rain tomorrow.
彼は多分もう家に
I think he has probably already arrived home.

Formal and relatively uncommon adjectival use meaning a considerable or generous amount. In modern Japanese, 多くの, 多額の, 多大な, or たくさんの is usually more ordinary depending on context; 多分に also appears for 'to a considerable degree.'

We sincerely thank you for your generous support.
この計画には楽観的な見通しが多分に含まれている。
