• 昨夜ゆうべ、怖こわい夢ゆめを見みた。

  I had a scary dream last night.

• 彼かれはよく空そらを飛とぶ夢ゆめを見みる。

  He often dreams of flying.

Metaphorical dreaming about hopes, ambitions, or an ideal future. Often used with ～という夢を見る or ～の夢を見る.

• 彼かれはいつか宇う宙ちゅう飛ひ行こう士しになる夢ゆめを見みている。

  He dreams of becoming an astronaut someday.

• 若わかい頃ころは、世せ界かい平へい和わの夢ゆめを見みていた。

  When I was young, I dreamed of world peace.

Rare, literary use. Describes a brief, almost unreal experience, often with a wistful or poetic tone. Not used in everyday conversation.

• 彼かれは戦せん場じょうで束つかの間まの平へい和わの夢ゆめを見みた。

  He experienced a fleeting moment of peace on the battlefield.
