divine hearing; heavenly ear
Buddhist term for the supernormal ability to hear sounds from any distance or realm, one of the six higher knowledges (六神通).

It is said that a practitioner who has attained divine hearing can discern even distant sounds.
From 天 (heaven, divine) + 耳 (ear) + 通 (penetrate, pass through), a translation of the Sanskrit term divyaśrotra.
