Archaic term for a woman who is charming in a coquettish or flirtatious way. Not used in modern Japanese outside of historical or literary contexts.

• 江え戸ど時じ代だいの浮うき世よ絵えには、婀あ娜だ者ものと評ひょうされる遊ゆう女じょが描えがかれることがあった。

  In Edo-period ukiyo-e, courtesans described as 婀娜者 were sometimes depicted.
