shogi board
A board for playing shogi (Japanese chess), typically a wooden grid of 9×9 squares.

There is an old shogi board at my grandfather's house.
碁盤 is the board for Go, with a plain 19×19 grid, while 将棋盤 is the board for shogi, which has a differently marked grid and often a raised block shape.
