Archaic second-person pronoun. Found in classical texts, often with a familiar or sometimes derogatory tone. The kanji 汝 is typical for this sense.

• 「汝な、何なにを為なすや」と古こ書しょにある。

  Old books contain phrases like "汝、何を為すや" meaning "What are you doing?"
