oblique prism
A prism whose lateral edges are not perpendicular to the bases. Used in geometry.
The volume of an oblique prism is found by multiplying the base area by the height.
Compound of 斜 (oblique) + 角 (angle) + 柱 (pillar, prism). The term is a direct calque from Western geometry.
