Used to say that there is absolutely no indication, hint, or presence of something. Often followed by a noun or clause indicating what is absent.
He shows no sign of reflecting on his actions.
There is no sign of the rain stopping.
From 気配 (sign, indication) + も (even) + ない (not exist). The reading きはいもない is a less common variant.
