(another's respected) father

A respectful term for someone else's father. Somewhat old-fashioned; お父様 (おとうさま) is more common in modern polite speech.

• お父ちち御ごはお元げん気きですか。

  How is your father?

• 彼かれの父ちち御ごは医い者しゃだそうだ。

  I hear his father is a doctor.
