Hyakunin Isshu; classical anthology of 100 waka by 100 poets
Refers specifically to the Ogura Hyakunin Isshu, a famous Heian-to-Kamakura-era poetry collection compiled by Fujiwara no Teika. Often studied in school and used in the karuta game.
The Hyakunin Isshu is said to have been selected by Fujiwara no Teika.
I memorized the Hyakunin Isshu at school.
