end-to-side anastomosis
Surgical term for connecting the end of one vessel or tubular structure to the side of another.
In this surgery, we connect the blood vessels using an end-to-side anastomosis.
End-to-end anastomosis, where two ends are joined directly, as opposed to end-to-side.
