Archaic term for a type of hakama without the usual gussets, worn by female students and later male students in the Meiji period. Now a historical garment.

• 明めい治じ時じ代だい、女じょ学がく生せいは行あん灯どん袴ばかまを着ちゃく用ようしていた。

  In the Meiji period, female students wore andōn-bakama.

• 行あん灯どん袴ばかまは、普ふ通つうの袴はかまと違ちがって襠まちがない。

  Unlike regular hakama, andōn-bakama have no gussets.
