見み逸それる

fail to recognize; not recognize

Used when you don't realize who someone is, often in the polite form お見逸れする. Implies you should have recognized the person.

  I'm so sorry I didn't recognize you.

• 変へん装そうしていたので、友とも達だちに見み逸それられた。

  I was in disguise, so my friend failed to recognize me.

Often used when you didn't realize someone's true skill or worth. The polite form お見逸れする is common.
