coprolalia; uncontrollable use of obscene language
Dated medical term for the involuntary utterance of obscene words or phrases, often associated with Tourette syndrome. The more current term is 汚言症 (おげんしょう).

Coprolalia is known as one of the symptoms of Tourette syndrome.
Nowadays, the term 汚言症 is more commonly used than 醜語症.
From 醜 (しゅう, 'ugly, obscene') + 語 (ご, 'word, language') + 症 (しょう, 'condition, disease'). The term is a direct calque of the medical concept of coprolalia.
