Technical term used in economics and public policy to describe goods or resources where one person's use does not reduce availability to others. Often contrasted with 競合的 (rivalrous).
Public goods have non-rivalrous and non-excludable characteristics.

Knowledge is a prime example of a non-rivalrous resource.
