頑がんとして

stubbornly; firmly; adamantly

Used when someone refuses to change their mind or position, often with a negative connotation of obstinacy. Common in the pattern 頑として～ない.

• 彼かれは頑がんとして自じ分ぶんの意い見けんを変かえなかった。

  He stubbornly refused to change his opinion.

• 社しゃ長ちょうは頑がんとしてその提てい案あんを受うけ入いれなかった。

  The president adamantly rejected the proposal.
