限りだExtremely; beyond measure (emotion)
限りだ follows a word expressing emotion or a subjective reaction and presents that feeling as exceptionally strong: “extremely,” “beyond measure,” or “nothing could be more so.” It is especially common in careful, formal statements.
How it works
The expression does more than say that a feeling exists: it raises that feeling to an unusually high degree. The reason for the emotion usually appears first, and the clause ending in 限りだ gives the speaker’s or writer’s reaction. The effect is often rhetorical rather than a literal claim that the emotion can be measured.

Other expressions of an extreme
限りだ works with a fairly wide range of emotion adjectives. の至り instead favors established, highly formal noun expressions for feelings or self-evaluations. の極み is broader: it can identify the extreme endpoint of states and qualities that are not necessarily emotions.
