Expressing that a quantity, degree, or quality is sufficient. Japanese uses different words depending on what is enough (amount, time, ability) and whether it's positive sufficiency or negative 'that's enough'.
To say that there is enough of something (money, food, people, etc.)
The most common verb for 'to be enough' in terms of quantity or number. Often used with が.
お金が足りない。
I don't have enough money.
人数は足りていますか？
Do we have enough people?
Adjective/noun meaning 'enough' or 'sufficient'. Can be used as 十分だ or 十分な + noun. Emphasizes adequacy.
これで十分です。
This is enough.
十分な量の水を用意してください。
Please prepare a sufficient amount of water.
Same reading and meaning as 十分, but this kanji emphasizes 'to the full extent'. Often interchangeable, but 十分 is more common for quantity.
充分な睡眠をとってください。
Please get enough sleep.
Means 'to be in time' or 'to suffice for a purpose'. Used when something is enough to meet a deadline or requirement.
この量で間に合いますか？
Will this amount be enough?
To say something is sufficiently good, big, strong, etc.
Used with a verb or adjective to mean 'enough to...' or 'to the extent that...'. Often paired with くらい/ぐらい.
歩けるほど元気です。
I'm well enough to walk.
泣きたいほど嬉しかった。
I was happy enough to cry.
Similar to ほど, but often more colloquial. Indicates a degree or approximate amount that is enough.
それくらいのことはできる。
I can do that much (it's easy enough).
Also used for degree. 十分に + verb/adjective means 'sufficiently'.
To tell someone to stop doing something because it's sufficient.
Common phrase meaning 'that's enough' or 'I've had enough'. Can sound blunt depending on tone.
もういい、やめて。
That's enough, stop it.
Polite way to say 'that's enough', often when refusing more food/drink or indicating satisfaction.
もう十分です、ありがとうございます。
That's enough, thank you.
Formal/polite way to decline more, meaning 'I'm fine' or 'that's enough'. Can be used when refusing offers.

足りる is a verb meaning 'to be sufficient' and is often used with quantities. 十分 is an adjective/noun meaning 'enough' and can modify nouns or stand alone. 十分 is more versatile and can be used for degree, while 足りる is strictly about amount/number.
足りる is not used for 'enough' in the sense of 'good enough' or 'sufficiently capable'. Use 十分 or other patterns instead.
彼は十分に速い。
He is fast enough.
彼は十分に強い。
He is strong enough.
It's good enough in its own way.
