Expressing that you are tired of something or bored with it, often after repeated exposure.
The most common and neutral way to say you are tired of or bored with something. Used with the particle に.
Expressing that you feel physically ill or disgusted after having too much of something, especially food or drink.
このゲームに飽きた。
I got sick of this game.
You get sick of eating the same thing every day.
Stronger than 飽きる, implies being fed up or disgusted. Often used with に.
I got sick of his stories.
I'm sick of the daily commute.
Literally 'become unpleasant', used when you get sick of something to the point of disliking it.
I'm getting sick of all this rain.
I got sick of eating fish every day.
Literally 'chest becomes bad', used when something makes you feel nauseous or sick.
I got sick from eating too many sweets.
I'm sick of his bragging. (annoyed)
