Thread used for temporary stitching (tacking/basting) in sewing, removed after final sewing.

• 仮かり縫ぬいの前まえに、しつけ糸いとで布ぬのを留とめます。

  Before the temporary stitching, I hold the fabric in place with basting thread.

• しつけ糸いとは後あとで抜ぬくので、目め立だつ色いろを使つかうと便べん利りです。

  Since basting thread is removed later, using a conspicuous color is convenient.
