のろけ

talking fondly about one's partner; gushing about one's love life

Often used when someone goes on and on about their spouse or sweetheart in a way that can be sweet or annoying. Common in the phrase のろけ話 (lovey-dovey talk).

• 彼かれののろけ話ばなしにはもううんざりだ。

  I'm fed up with his gushing about his girlfriend.

• 新しん婚こんの友とも達だちがのろけばかり言いう。

  My newlywed friend does nothing but talk fondly about her husband.
