A somewhat formal or literary expression for one's own spouse. The kanji 妻 or 夫 specifies the gender. Used in self-reference, not for addressing the spouse directly.
我が妻は料理が上手だ。
My wife is good at cooking.
我が夫は毎朝早く起きる。
My husband gets up early every morning.
Combination of 我が (archaic possessive 'my') and 妻/夫 (spouse). The reading つま is an older form of 妻/夫.
