forcefully; violently; emphatic prefix

Emphatic prefix attached to verbs, adding a sense of force, violence, or intensity. Similar to ぶっ, but ぶち is used before certain sounds. Colloquial and expressive.

  He got angry and smashed the door.

• その話はなしを聞きいて、ぶちのめしてやりたいと思おもった。

  Hearing that story, I felt like beating him up.
