Usage patterns

• 〈場ば所しょ〉を浚さらうto dredge a place (river, ditch, well, etc.)

  大おお雨あめの後あと、川かわ底ぞこを浚さらって泥どろを取とり除のぞいた。

  After the heavy rain, they dredged the riverbed to remove the mud.

• 〈物もの〉を浚さらうto dredge up or scoop out accumulated matter (mud, debris, etc.)

• 波なみが〈物もの・人ひと〉を浚さらうa wave sweeps something or someone away
