Usage patterns

• 〈場ば所しょ〉をぐるっと一いっ周しゅうするto go all the way around a place

  公こう園えんをぐるっと一いっ周しゅうしてから帰かえった。

  I went all the way around the park before heading home.

• 〈場ば所しょ〉をぐるっと囲かこむto completely encircle a place

  その村むらは山やまにぐるっと囲かこまれている。

  That village is completely encircled by mountains.

• 〈物もの〉をぐるっと見み回まわすto look all around something in a sweeping glance

  部屋へやをぐるっと見み回まわして忘わすれ物ものがないか確かく認にんした。

  I looked all around the room to check I hadn't left anything behind.

• 〈物もの〉をぐるっと回まわすto turn something around in one sweeping motion

  首くびをぐるっと回まわして肩かたの力ちからを抜ぬいた。
