Usage patterns

• 〈物もの〉のアイコンをクリックするto click an icon (of an app, file, etc.)

  画が面めんのアプリのアイコンをクリックした。

  I clicked the app's icon on the screen.

• アイコンをタップするto tap an icon (on a touchscreen)

  スマホの画が面めんでアイコンをタップした。

  I tapped the icon on my phone's screen.

• アイコンが表ひょう示じされるan icon is displayed (on the screen)

  デスクトップに新あたらしいアイコンが表ひょう示じされた。

  A new icon appeared on the desktop.

• アイコンを変へん更こうするto change an icon (e.g. a profile picture)

  プロフィールのアイコンを変へん更こうした。

  I changed my profile icon.
