A yojijukugo from Pure Land Buddhism, literally 'ten myriad myriad lands', referring to the vast distance to the Western Paradise of Amida Buddha. Used to evoke an unimaginably far-off, ideal realm or eternity.

• 念ねん仏ぶつを唱となえれば、十じゅう万まん億おく土どの彼か方なたにある極ごく楽らく浄じょう土どに往おう生じょうできると信しんじられている。

  It is believed that by chanting the nembutsu, one can be reborn in the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, which lies far beyond the ten myriad myriad lands.
