single-site approximation
Technical term in solid-state physics, used in models where interactions are approximated by considering each site independently, such as in the dynamical mean-field theory (DMFT) context.
In dynamical mean-field theory, the lattice model is treated with the single-site approximation.
Compound of 単 (single), サイト (site), and 近似 (approximation). A direct calque of the English physics term.
