Expresses that something will be managed or resolved in some way, often with a sense of hope or determination. Less common than the request sense.

• どうかなるでしょう。

  It will work out somehow.

Used in the pattern かどうか to embed a yes/no question. This is a fixed grammatical construction, not a standalone adverb.

strange; wrong; off

Describes something being amiss or not right, often used with する to mean 'to be strange' or 'to be wrong'. Can also appear as どうかしている.

• 彼かれの様よう子すがどうかしている。

  There's something off about him.

• この時計とけい、どうかしてるよ。

  This clock is acting strange.
