Brazil is located almost at the antipodes of Japan.
Standard kanji spelling. The reading たいせきてん is the most common.
Alternate reading; less common than たいせきてん.
From 対 (opposite) + 蹠 (sole of the foot, here meaning 'place') + 点 (point). The reading たいせきてん uses the kan'on reading of 蹠, while たいしょてん uses the goon reading.
