なおまた

Used to add another point or reason, often in formal or written contexts. Similar to さらに or その上, but slightly more emphatic and less common in casual speech.

• この計けい画かくは費ひ用ようがかかる。なおまた、時じ間かんも十じゅう分ぶんに必ひつ要ようだ。

  This plan is expensive. Moreover, it requires a lot of time.

• 彼かれは有ゆう能のうな研けん究きゅう者しゃであり、なおまた優すぐれた教きょう育いく者しゃでもある。

  He is a capable researcher and, furthermore, an excellent educator.
