With the 2023 legal revision, the crime of forcible sexual intercourse was replaced by the crime of non-consensual sexual intercourse.
The current legal term (since 2023) that replaced 強制性交等罪, broadening the scope to include non-consensual acts without requiring proof of assault or intimidation.
