Describes a feeling of restless irritation when things don't go as quickly or smoothly as one wants. Often used with ～てじれる or in the form じれったい.
返事が遅くてじれた。
I got impatient because the reply was slow.
彼はなかなか結果が出ないのでじれている。
He's fretting because results aren't coming out.
