果物、野菜、肉等々を買い物リストに書いた。
I wrote fruits, vegetables, meat, etc. on the shopping list.
とうとう is neutral and often used for outcomes seen as inevitable (even negative ones), whereas やっと implies satisfaction that something difficult finally happened.
