Technical term in digital logic; refers to a circuit element that outputs true only when all inputs are true.
An AND gate outputs 1 only when both inputs are 1.
OR gate; outputs true when at least one input is true, unlike the AND gate which requires all inputs to be true.
NAND gate; the negation of an AND gate, outputting false only when all inputs are true.
